Do I need a referral?
You don’t need a referral to make an appointment, however sessions cannot be claimed through Medicare without a referral. There are two different Medicare plans that people can be referred to speech pathology under. Please see the below link for more information.
What do I need to bring to the first appointment?
If you have any previous speech pathology assessments, or reports from a psychologist or pediatrician it would be useful to bring these.
What should I do if my child is sick?
If your child is unwell it is important to cancel the appointment and reschedule for a time when they have recovered.
Is there parking available?
At our Box Hill Clinic there is plenty of free parking on the street. At Cato Street the parking is more restricted. Please refer to our locations for more information.
